2022 NFL Season Other Games - Regular Season

I don't know if we want to have one thread for the entire season to discuss other games or if we want a new thread every week. But the 2022-23 NFL season starts this evening. And I have a few things to say about it.

The Bills are favored by 2.5, but I am picking the Rams to win. I can't remember the last time the reigning Super Bowl champs opened the season as dogs at home.

I know this game is being touted as a possible Super Bowl match up. But I also look at it this game as the two teams the Chargers could face in the AFC Championship game and Super Bowl.

I like the Rams' acquisition of Allen Robinson. I think that is going to make the Rams' offense more potent. WR Van Jefferson is out but they have Tutu Atwell, and it will be interesting to see if Atwell can produce in the NFL. He's only 155 lbs, but get him the ball in space and watch out (maybe/potentially). The Rams also have RB Cam Akers healthy and I think he will be a factor in the Rams' offensive success (or lack thereof).

I think this is going to be a great game to watch and since softball has been cancelled this eve due to the hell heat in Nor Cal, I look forward to watching it this evening.

I do have one more question: Will the loss of Sebastian Joseph-Day have a negative impact on the Rams' IDL?

Probably the best to keep it for the entire season, but it will need to be bumped, no room for it to be stuck. I'll update the title for 2022.

Yes, I think that is the best approach, instead of starting a new thread for each week.

Woo hoo! It’s professional tackle football season! Wheels up and nuts on the table fantasy players and bettors. :larry:

Some crazy lines this week a bunch of road favorites hedge accordingly starting tonight with Bills -2.5 @ the Rams. I don’t like that line.

Cookin up some chops and mashed potatoes and watching Josh Allen who I really like as well as Gabriel Davis.

The only road game I like is BAL -7 @ NYJ.
Chiefs -6 @AZ? I don’t know about that one and the DEN -6.5 @ SEA looks safer than KC.

There's going to be a 90-min pregame show on NBC starting at 4 PST.

The high 90's is too hot for football. These people better keep drinking water, lots of water.

I think the Rams will win a close one but can know since we haven't seen this years version of either of these teams.

Rams D looked like one that didn't play in preseason.

Pretty easy opening drive for the Bills. 7-0

Bills up, 7-0. They made it look easy.

Von Miller collects the first sack of the season. Rams LT Noteboom looked bad.
