They have won six games because of defense and ST. Hard to picture going through a season with Jones as your QB and expecting to challenge for a SB.

The Patriots have managed to beat the Jets twice, but their four other victories are against losing teams. Their remaining six games include the Bills twice, the Bengals and the Dolphins. If I had to bet I'd bet against them winning any of these games.

Bengals (@Titans): RB Joe Mixon out. Ja'Marr Chase questionable.
Jets (v Bears): Chicago QB Justin Fields is practicing on a limited basis, but he's still questionable for the game.

You do know a XP today is a 33 yard FG now? Its isnt placed at the 2 yardline like it used to be. Its placed at the 15. Still a short FG but not the automatic kick it was then. Those i believe you could make lol.

Yes, I'm aware. And I'm reasonably confident I could walk over to the high school football stadium a few blocks from me right now and kick a 33-yard FG through the uprights. It should be a gimme for any NFL kicker.

Games with the biggest impact for the Chargers tomorrow that involve a team currently standing between the Chargers and a wildcard:

              Bears-Jets early
              Bengals-Titans early

There's also Raiders-Seahawks and Rams-Chiefs in the late window, but more of interest within the division.

MNF is Steelers-Colts, Indy is right behind the Bolts in conference standings.

Next Thursday's game is Patriots-Bills. If the Chargers beat the Cards and the Bills pound the Patriots, the Bolts will jump ahead of the Pats in the wildcard tourney.

My eye will be on the Bengals Titans game.
Rooting for a Titans win to help our playoff chances over the Bengals and also hoping for any sign of weakness from Tennessee while escaping with a win.
                Gimmie Bower Power!!

OK, but the reason they moved the XP back is so it wouldnt be such a gimme.....and that has shown to be true.

That game will be a test as to whether either of these teams are any good. I'm assuming the Titans are going to win that division, with every other team being well below .500 right now.

Consider this: If the Chargers beat the Cards tomorrow and the Raiders in LV next week; and

If the Bengals lose to the Titans tomorrow and to KC at home next week; and
The Jets lose to the Bears at home tomorrow and to the Vikes in Minn next week; and
The Patriots lose to the Bills at home on Thurs

The Chargers will move into the #6 seed.
