    That's still pretty bad...and not surprising...no wonder Lombo's O is so predictable...

Zion was beaten by Danna with the same move as when Herbert's ribs were injured.

We have to play better football.

It was I think against Cleveland? It was said during thr KC broadcast. Forget the details and it wasn't said as a critique.

3 strikes YOU’RE OUT!!! He is the worst OC I can recall the Chargers have ever had.

Will the Charger brain trust (haha) realize he needs to be fired as quickly as Detroit did?
Yes, I realize that you have more than one issue with Lombardi.

He's always been in the enviable position of operating with franchise quarterbacks during his time here.

He's made a few good decisions; but in general, he hasn't strung together enough 'good' decisions to make the Chargers into anything other than
a fringe playoff team during the best of times. TBD.

Another year will make him the longest tenured GM (by regular season games) in Charger history.
What has he done to merit this distinction? Being a team player. LOL. Yes.

Change can be good or bad: don't fear it. Change is almost always a step or two back.
Sticking with the same results (which is what you would get with Telesco) will lead nowhere.
              Counterpoints.
Elsewhere you stated that TTs best was early on. Uh that was when he signed Derrick Cox and drafted DJ Fluker.
TPB has a blood in the water way of thinking.
That is not the same as solid football takes with long term thinking IMV.

He drafted Keenan Allen and signed Danny Woodhead, King Dunlap and a useful Chad Rinehart for cheap,
after AJ Smith went on a free agent binge the year before.

All key contributors to their playoff appearance

Really??? Do you think they have some unlimited number of plays set up for third down for every game they play?

If you run out of 3rd down plays... that means you've run A LOT of 3rd down plays... which means your offense is controlling the ball... converting 3rd downs.... controlling the TOP...? These are still good things... even in modern day football... right...?

Is it a bad thing to re-run 3rd down plays that were successful the 1st time...? I'm becoming more and more confused by the day...

If we run 50 3rd down plays in a game... what are our odds of winning...? Has anyone run the analytics on that one...?
I'm betting we did pretty well....
