Cards' WR Marquise Brown has been out since mid-October with a foot fracture. Apparently he came off IR within the past few days, but was not activated for last night's game. Although nobody has reported he will play against the Chargers, he is supposedly going to practice this week so we'll see.

The Cards have yet to have Brown and Hopkins on the field at the same time. It could happen for the first time v the Chargers.

Rondale Moore, their super-speedy (4.29) second year WR, left last night's game with a groin injury. No word yet if he's going to be able to play Sunday.

Realistically, Staley and the PLAYERS have to shore up their run D and pass rush NOW & FAST going forward or we have no shot, and for sure in the playoffs we'll be 1 and done if we can't stop the run and get to the QB! Staley even said in his presser that this was the main reason we lost the game. HE seems to know exactly why we lose these games and he usually is right on point what he needs from the players and their roles, that's why I still believe that if this team can somehow get in the playoffs things could click! Brandon Staley does put the players in a position to win these games the players have to start playing with more confidence, what Allen tweeted during that game proved that the players or star players confidence wasn't quite there! That's an issue, once the players start tuning out what everyone else on the outside is saying in regard to the HC, OC, Etc... And start playing good ball while at the same time trust the HC and System I like our chances, or if not this season is over, and it really will be time for a change. We'll see in these next 4 or 5 games??

It's going to be interesting to watch Smartt develop (or not). As far as I can tell, he's totally new to the TE position. He was a QB in high school and Junior College and in his first season at Old Dominion, switching to WR in second college season. He's never played TE before. But Staley is reportedly very high on him.

If they do not come away with a victory in AZ. They really need to start making adjustments. Especially if Brown, Ertz and Murray are out.

I am praying that Staley relinquishes play calling duties and lets Hill give it a go. This is the time to do it. If the O struggles again in the 2nd half and they lose. There are no more excuses for Lombardi.

I am however pretty confident that they pull out a win. And it should be by at least a TD.

Stone smartt caught one pass and already is ahead of McKitty on the depth chart. I agree by the way. He looked good out there once I figured out who the hell #48 was

This D leaves a LOT to be desired. and the O cant seem to put together a complete 4-qtr game. EVERY game is gonna be tough with this team and coaching staff.

We can take some heart over the fact that Ari D is worse at points allowed and passing yds allowed.
We are a top 10 passing offense even with KA , MW and Everrett nicked up. Herbert is playing more like his healthy self every week, Palmer and Carter are playing well and EK, the NFL's best receiving RB is healthy.....and we may get something from our top receivers.
Our D struggles every week, yet we have 5 W's. We were actually pretty good vs KC until the last, but Ari is not KC.
Clearly we need to play 4 quarters of decent ball on both sides. It's doable and SHOULD happen. Otherwise start thinking about next year.

If they have Kyler Murray, Marquise Brown and Rondale Moore back, with DeAndre Hopkins, it's going to be a tough, tough game. They can score and keep on scoring.
