SF has the 13th best scoring offense, Chargers are 14th.
SF's #1 defense is an undeniable asset that LAC does not have. Opponents cannot keep the ball on O vs SF.
Shanahan has done OK with what he has.

And today we see Mr. Irrelevant, the THIRD QB on their roster, passing and running for TDs.

We have Justin Herbert and can't score a TD in almost any 3rd quarter. It's disgusting.

Coaching makes a difference.

The thing is…Herbert won’t have the time for our usual seeing MW and KA get “open.” That right there restricts what we’ve been accustomed to. This changes everything about our passing attack. Those extra two seconds not there profoundly impacts an offensive coordinators plan of attack. That’s why receivers haven’t been getting open lately. They NEED that extra couple of seconds which simply aren’t there as of late. Herbert NEEDS that extra couple of seconds. It’s just not there due to O-line injuries. That presents a challenge for ANY OC and his overall game plan. I for one expect a very limited boring “what else can we reasonably expect” offensive plan against the Dolphins. Just let us not be embarrassed on national TV, nor Herbert injured.

two more seconds is A LOT of time Cas. If Oline could hold on 1 more second I think Herbert would do some magic.
