My main area of concern

Special teams. So far there isn't anything special about them.

I swear this better not be like 2 years ago. Kevin Spencer better step it up because his squads so far are WEAKsauce.

I read that the Chargers ST are all about fundamentals and not about coverage schemes thus far in training camp. That haven't been practicing the schemes in drills. As opposed to the last coach who did a lot of schemes. I know Spencer has a lot of experience, so he must know what he is doing. I am just hoping that the teams start to really improve soon. They look absolutely terrible and what bothers me is the fundamentals look bad, too.

My main concern is the price of beer at the stadium. I normally don't buy beer once inside but I don't know how I'm gonna get through the games this year without pounding down a few at halftime. Plus, the stadium beer selection sucks.

The ESPN broadcasters made a point to mention that MM told them in their "session" they have w/team before the broadcast that they (Chargers) have not spent a ton of time on ST work and that they probably wouldn't have thier "real" ST guys out there during the week 2 preseason game.

No Depth is the Main Concern. There was depth at WR, the core group is all injured with DX out for the season, Meachum is hurt too in the sense it just hurts me to see him play.

Offense
QB Rivers goes down season over
RB -Okay maybe, but Mathews goes down for any extend time Woodhead is not a everydown back week to week
WR- See above
TE- May actually be okay
OL- one of the starters go down for any extended time we are in trouble!!!!

Defense
DL-Starter solid backup ??????
ILB-Solid DJ Smith
OLB-Weak after starters and English is an injury waiting to happen
CB-Bad news if either of the starters go down
FS-Bad news period, pray nothing happens to Weedle

Overall looks like only two positions solid TE & ILB, and the RB position has me concerned because of Mathews history to not play 16 games

Dilfer said that MM told him he would borrow from the O and D to use on STs. Despite us being thin in most areas. He also said that MM is using guys on the current STs to evaluate and that most wont even make the roster.
