    Very good run blockers.

Some of the OL that I recall were Gerry Mullins, Ray Mansfield, Jon Kolb, Mike Webster.

Feeling pretty sad right now after watching Terry Bradshaw talk about his teammate/friend...https://www.msn.com/en-us/video/spor...ategory=foryou

Webster took over for Mansfield at C.
Larry Brown,Sam Davis, Jim Clack were other fixtures on that OL- great at BOTH run and pass blocking.
          RIP legend.

Same here. Depending on the month that game was, I was 9, maybe just turned 10 since that was a playoff game. My B-Day is in Nov.

Saw it on TV live as well. I loved those Steeler teams because they always beat the Raiders as they did there.

Can't believe Franco just died. He was on the radio just the other day talking about this immaculate reception.

            RIP Franco

I'm glad I'm not the only Chargers fan that appreciated Franco Harris and the 70's Steelers. THAT was football!

Thanks guys. I appreciate you sharing your memories here.

I think it was the last time San Diego hosted the Super Bowl I met Franco Harris. They had closed off the streets in the Gaslamp, myself and a couple of my buddies were walking down the street. First thing I noticed was how tall he was, 6'. We had a conversation with him and his buddies. He was very approachable and smiling, chatting with everyone that said hello. He invited me and my buddies into one of the clubs he had access to. Had a few drinks and some really good laughs. Really good guy.

This game tonight is going to be the single largest wake in Pittsburgh history of not the country. RIP Franko Harris.
