But in defense of the Chargers Mr. Henne, What else can he do? The glass must be half full in order for him to keep his job. I know you know this already so it's silly for me to even type it, but he doesn't write these reports for people like you and I, they're written for the fan that actually gets their NFL news from thier team website, which I would guess is the significant portion of the fan base.

I don't think there are looking for writers who would take a realistic view of the team's roster and prospects on that site. It would make it hard to sell tickets for the upcoming season if they did.
