you're a charger fan. best to adjust your expectations of what constitutes success.

i can tell ya one thing, getting pummeled in the division for the next 10 years isn't going to be joyful

      Unfortunately, you're probably right.

It seems that once he gets out of the South that he got beat when it counted. So let's see what he can do, I am looking forward to it.
            .

Peyton did more in his 15 years with the Aints than the illustrious entire Charger NFL history.

And i consider backing into the playoffs and then sucking being much lower on the success barometer.

Go find something better to do or another hobby if you're that unconfident about team.

Tell us why we should have confidence.

                    A head coach comes in, talks the talk about building relationships and designing defenses around the talent of his players;
then we soon learn that very few players seem to be a good fit for his defense and his idea about building relationships
is running onto the football field, while the rest of the team is having an epic meltdown, to retrieve a helmet tossed by a star player throwing a tantrum

Is he the equipment manager or the head coach?

The general impression is that he's in over his head, and that the only reason he hasn't been fired is because the Spanos are too cheap to swallow a contract.

                    Why should we have confidence?

The hiring of Payton doesn't mean we're going to be pummeled. It doesn't seem to matter who the head coach and quarterback are for the Broncos; we have played like idiots against them at least once a year since Peyton Manning retired. Payton is an overrated coach, who I believe will not do well in Denver.

The real problem is Kansas City.

Denver’s no problem, we beat them once last year. It’s not like they hired an Experienced HC who has won a superbowl and made the P.O. many time. It’s not like they Have an Experienced QB who has been coached by one of the smartest Collage and NFL Coaches. It’s not like he’s been to a few superbowls or won one. It’s not like they have owners who will do anything to win.

No comparison, We not only have the best HC ever and a superb experienced QB who has been to P.O., not to mention the worlds best defense that would never let a team comeback from a 27 point deficit in just a little over a half.

We got this, no chance we don’t win every game.

                          Payton Who? Reid Who?

I mean if for some reason it doesn’t work out, I’m sure Bellicheat would come rescue Chargers.
