Are both Johnson and Ogbonnia going to be ready for camp?
I don't recall their injuries or recovery schedule. If both are healthy, we should be alright at IDL.
    Is Fehoko still around?
And our OL looks slim after the front 5( and our new draftee). Any of those dudes go down, Justin will be back running for his life.

I feel good about the oline...Sarell is a good developmental guy doing extra work this offseason with the Duke, Salyer can also kick out to tackle, and we picked up his clone in McFadden...a very good lineman who is a tweener...but by virtue, versatile...only concern is center...we will see who gets reps there in camp.
        The TPB makes plans....

        And Jim Harbaugh laughs...

cmplxgal has given us our roster.
          Could 89 & 90 be KVN & Callahan ?
          Or a TE ?
          RB ?
Remember, starting this year, there is one big cutdown only, at the end of camp.
TPB must self scout the Chargees.
We do not play modern football.

I thought the NFL adopted a new rule that you can have a 3rd QB on the roster this season and it doesn't count or something.

But I agree - if the normal rules -- send one to the PS and if need be, protect them every week - granted they need to clear waivers

I think it will be at least three veteran free agent signings

              JJ3
              Edge Rusher

              and tbd ????

I'm missing something because I can't see a reason in the world to make me want to post if I thought the team was always wrong.
Because we're hoping that some day they get it right? There are many of us (a lot more than 8) that would love to see the a real change in the team's culture, and understand that the current model isn't working. But I guess that's just us.

For me, its just frustrating. I have been a fan since Air Coryell days. I remember the day he got hired. It was the same day as PSA Flight 182 and there was a Santa Ana weather condition in San Diego so got to leave school early. I remember the days Ross Porter and Willie Davis always doing the Chargers road games on TV. I was ticked the morning I read in the paper they traded Joe Washington for Lydell Mitchell

I have been a fan a long damn time. And I have to say, Dean Spanos sucks as an NFL Owner. He is stupid, dense, obtuse and arrogant. But I root for the Bolt and players. I want them to do well. I ust am not sure Spanos cares to win based on his history.

I just am not sure the Spanii will ever win. The fact that Telesco still has a job is mind boggling. But again, I hope Telesco and Staley have a heckuva year - win the division, play-off games, the whole shebang.

Callahan for sure...cements the slot, and hedges our bets on these youngins in the secondary...crowded Edge room, but KVN can play off ball...essentially quality depth if either the Edge or LB corps suffer a rash of injuries...valable leadership/lockerroom presence as well...those 2 guys are top of my list...followed by RB, and maybe nose, depending on our guys recovery there.

                      My hopes are:

                      JJ3
                      Leonard Floyd
Zeke Elliott - Bills signed Murray,. Chargers didn't draft a RB, there seems to be a need here.... cheap one year deal , heavy incentives
extend Vato to make the cap work

If the team is pushing for 2023 - push it harder than just bringing back Callahan and Van Noy - I think Floyd might be better than Van Noy

Thank you for the explanation. I'll try to keep that in mind.

I do still think there are a couple of guys that are simply not very bright and are probably happy to be unhappy as they go through life.

I'm not a JJ3 fan, I think he's no longer a good player. Another Safety would sure be a good thing but I just don't think much of JJ3 anymore. Perhaps someone will be available now when teams start thinning out the roster?

I think Elliot wants more $$ than EK is asking for.
