Good news....best case scenario for Philip, IMHO...."continuity with improvement", perhaps?

and maybe actually use Gordon properly so his career doesn't stagnate? gots to change the blocking schemes and get a real running game to lean on or its more of the same.

Wonder if this means we won't run the shotgun draw 20 times a game?

He'll be able to step into the HC position when MM trips up.

Lets hope if we play the Texans he dosnt use one player to block Watt. Which was brought up when he was fired.

This was my hope when they scuttled Reich. I really liked Whiz for his leadership and knowledge of offenses.....i think he's a great match with Philip. Very happy to get his years of experience back and glad McCoy and TT were on good terms with him. Hope this is not a 1 year and off again though. I think he will use Gordon well....we just need to get the OL back to health and get some more talent signed up there.

Maybe he'll make Gordon a real NFL running back.

Wait... This isn't right. So you're trying to tell me something positive about the Chargers? Cue suspicion.

Seriously though this tiny blip of positive helps. That was one of the worst most depressing seasons in recent memory.
