PLays like that are going to be a staple. This is how McCoy likes to keep the backside pursuit away from the zone runs. Denver ran a ton of it last year.

We will run the WR action a lot on running plays, so the DE and OLB have to respect it, giving our RB a chance to get upfield without being chased down for behind on every play. And with Rivers, we can't really use the zone read or bootleg stuff that other teams use to slow the backside pusuit.

I thought it was a clean hit. Willie got lit up by Bostic. Someone in the comments said that nfl.com promoted it as a spectacular hit now they took that down. I don't agree with this one, even though it was against our team.

At the time, I thought it was helmet to helmet. We got to talking about it around here and I was persuaded that this was, in fact, a clean hit. I'm not one for the pussification of the NFL.
