Lowery managed four interceptions with Indy last year, but remained one of the worst cover safeties in the league. He'll give the Chargers a veteran stopgap to replace Eric Weddle. The signing does little to improve a secondary that allowed too many big plays in 2015. Lowery was PFF's No. 49 safety out of 88 qualifiers.

LOL! This is one signing that we should be trying to HIDE, not BROADCAST. What team(s) is Weddle getting interest from, I wonder? Would be a heck of coup for the Raiders to sign him. I think the Raiders could win the Division next year. Seriously. Broncos probably will; but the Raiders have a lot of young talent and have added a couple of key FAs. Adding Weddle would be a good move for them, IMO.
