That whole season was fucking amazing

I went to the one game that was blacked out vs. Cincy but I missed a bunch of the Seattle game with the 99 yard Tony Martin TD because I was chasing some tail.

I went to the one game that was blacked out vs. Cincy but I missed a bunch of the Seattle game with the 99 yard Tony Martin TD because I was chasing some tail.

That insane Cinci game. Was living in Mexico. Went to a casino and bribed the manager to put the Chargers on the big screen instead of soccer. A brawl happened. Bouncers led about 10 dudes out of the place, and just about everybody who remained hated me.

It was obvious who got their soccer game reduced to the mini spot between the horses. So most of the people there really wanted the Bengals to kick our asses, which they were doing for a while. A lot of Spanish shit talk flew in my direction. When Rivers and the defense came back, I was on top of tables screaming, "Que pedo, guey. Que tranza, pendejo. Chargers forever, bitches." Or something like that.

Did I mention I'd eaten some peyote at halftime and was tripping gorditas?

When I left, I saw all the nearby cars had their windows smashed out and their tires flattened. Fortunately I came in a cab.

That was when our team had balls and I came in cabs.

These are awesome memories, and they bring me back to a great time. But man, I wish we could hang our hats on something more recent than 1994.
