Mahomes and KC play on the road for the playoffs for a change. Good to see. The Chiefs always hosting a playoff game at home was getting annoying and boring.
I think there are games that get young QBs over the hump, and for Love the Chargers game was such a game.
He had 3 games before he even played LAC with a higher rating. He only scored 23 pts against LAC and a shitty DC (er HC), i think this presumption is just typical “chargering” mentality that everything Chargers means more than everything else. It was just a game, he played 18 this year so far.
he’s been developing at GB for what 3, 4 years? He was a Rd1 draft pick. I think you demean his talent and work by assigning his success to a single game against LAC. Jmo.
I find the premise that one game against the Bolts transformed Jordon Love into a completely new player to silly. I know everyone wants to bag on Staley, and I don’t blame them a bit for that. But lousy QBs do not become elite QBs just from one 60 minute game and intuitively and by experience everyone here knows this. He scored 23 points against LAC, he scored >23 in 7 other games. lets not make it out to be something ridiculous.
Sure Jordan Love had a few good games before playing the Chargers. 14 TDs / 10 INTs.
After attending the *Brandon Staley QB Developmental course......?
Went 21 TDs / 1 INT plus won his first playoff game.
Aidan O'Connell took the *Brandon Staley QB Development course the first time and flunked. He went 4 TDs and 7 INTs before retaking the exam a second time and passed.
Went 8 TDs / 0 INTs and got both Staley AND Telesco fired.
*Accredited in 3 NFL Divisions, the SEC, and Michigan State.
I don’t know he was making throw after throw against Dallas I was impressed.
Playing against a Staley defense doesn’t count. For anything.
Reminded me of Brees how far he was dropping back. But Brees did it because he was short. Think Love is 6'4". Maybe he always does it and I hadn't noticed.

We’ll see how he fares against the 49ers. Dallas left guys completely uncovered in their game. I wouldn’t expect he’ll have the same time and open targets this weekend. But GB has to be thrilled. Their plan of drafting a QB late in the first round and letting them sit behind an aging star seems to have worked again.

Against 49ers yeah...he's gonna have to shake the cobwebs from all the hits he's gonna take!!
