OT: Rex Ryan is an idiot.

The weight loss program obviously reduced the size of his brain by half.

Letting Sancize play and get hurt is a play for #1 overall ... sly dog!

Damn! You're right. He's like George W Bush. You think he's an idiot but he's secretly a genius!

Except that I don't think Rexy would get the 1st pick. The new coach for the Jets might, after they fire Ryan, but Rex wouldn't get to use it.

Were they going to win any game WITH Sanchez? If a bad players gets injured in a preseason game, does anybody hear the tree fall?
          Prediction:
          Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.

Rex is in deep $hit no matter what he does. He needs to win now to save his job. We all know how bad Sanchez is, and from what I have seen Smith doesn't seem close to ready to play in the NFL.

And again he did NOTHING to improve the lack of speed and playmakers on offense. Look, I am not a Sanchez fan....not at all. But does anyone think ANY QB could be successful last year and this year on that team? There is absolutely no playmakers on the team. They had two first round picks and used them both on D. Maybe they tried to trade down to get more picks and then take some WR and RB help. I don't know. what I do know is that their lack of playmakers makes everything more difficult.

Is that on Rex or their new GM?

Good thing he lost all that weight. Maybe TV will be more interested in him for a broadcasting job when he gets canned in...5-6 weeks.

Rex is a beaten down coach who knows he is on his way out. The biggest stress factor in his life right now was the QB competition. Maybe he was trying to get Sanchez hurt so he wouldn't have to deal with it anymore and can just go on losing without the media hounding him as much?

That performance in the press conference was pathetic.

I truly believe that Rex has player control until he is gone. I think the owner insisted on Geno in Rd2 over Rex's objections. If the GM decided to go D with both first rd picks (I understand taking a corner to replace Revis), but with a lack of playmakers on Offense, including Rb, WR, and TE, taking sheldon richardson (a player I like a lot) to add to your D line, which is the only strength on the team is asinine. How they passed on Eifert, a dynamic TE prospect that would be a QBs security blanket is beyond me. They failed to address their biggest weakness, a lack of speed and playmakers on offense, for the second year in a row. That is why I think it was Rex's call intimately.

Here is how they addressed a lack of ANY playmakers on offense. Again, I don't see how any QB can succeed on that tema last year or this year.
