I went and took a look at QJ Charger highlights. He definitely wasn't good, but he wasn't horrible either. He looked like a rookie. They had him playing all over the place. Sometimes he was lined up as the X, Y, or Z receiver depending on the formation. He did get a lot more PI calls than I remember. Anyway, I think he will be fine this year.

Jeebus, does any rookie WR look good playing all over the place like that? Best everyone just forget last season, it has no bright spots save Mack, who is back. 😎

I was going to say something bout that but didn't want it to sound like making excuses for him. The kid had to learn a lot because he was being asked to do a lot. He didn't look as bad toward the end of the season though.

Jerry Freakin' Rice had the dropsies as a rookie.

Being that QJ's problem is purely psychological, the prognosis is exceedingly positive lol.

Jim's excited about coaching QJ, that's good enough for me to be excited about QJ year 2!

Here's my take on the idea that that Charger offense will stall out in 2024.

I expect Herbert to have a higher completion percentage, and maybe fewer yards per attempt.

We will use lots of 12, 13, and Jumbo sets ie 2 and 3 TEs and extra OL, prolly McFadden.

The TEs will sometimes block solely, and sometimes chip and go out in short routes. Herbert will have more time and wide open options.

The key will be Red Zone offense. Parham must put to work. Hurst and Dissly will be good RZ targets. Then there is GusBus.

                  "Create conflict."

Hoping you’re right. Travis Benjamin never did. I’m still haunted by him running by himself to the EZ when PR long pass went in between the breadbasket.

Roman wants a solid ground game, so Bolts need to get serious...
Preach!!! Who was that one “next phenom” of training camp we ended up cutting, and teeth gnashed as he was picked up by the Cardinals … to then do absolutely nothing there. Oh, i think that was Grice?

don’t start me on Jacob Fucking Hester, you know how I feel about him …
