QJ may end up being good, but we NEEDED a guy who could come in and help us immediately (AKA Flowers), otherwise the run it back again exercise was even more stupid . . . . . . . . . and he drafted what turned out to be a project

So glad he's gone (along with Staley). Even more happy that TT went to the Raiders ! I actually feel somewhat sorry for their fans . . . . . . . . .
Never feel sorry for Raiders fans

But they have both publicly stated they intend to play together at some point in their career. This might be that point.

      Mack for Ramsey straight up.
No thanks to that asshat. If moving on from Mack how about Christian Wilkins or one/both of their FA O Line guys?

If they are going to be using a FB this year, why not bring back Horvath?. I think with the right development, he can be a weapon.

You mean like learning how to block? Meh. FBs need to come to the league knowing how to block. He didn’t have the power at point of attack as the prototype FB I envision Harbaugh would want. He was more of a tweener that TT fantasized could be a multii-dimensional tool to also be more of a runner. He wasn’t. If Harbaugh wants a FB, get a real bowling ball FB.

After the year he had, $20m would be a discout. So are you willing to pay him $54+m for the next 2 years...?
I’m willing to pay him market for two years.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Not so sure about that with all our cap issues...

We have fresh thinking new experts in the house.
And this is not Ed McGuire's first rodeo.
He built in "out" clauses in these big, cap draining contracts
Hortiz states our goal is to win next year.
There are many variables us fans are not privy to.
Of course players and their agents will have major input.
They will either cooperate to chase a ring with Jim Harbaugh,
or they will compel the Chargers to do something.
And screw these dumb ass mock machine algorithms
                  with lame big boards.
                  Be wary of that.
                  Go to many sources.
                  Study video.

But that would address one aspect of our cap, and keep the best player we have on D. Win win.

Well you want to kick another 7-8m for Bosa to 2025 which would make his cap hit next year $40m

After last night, seeing the Chiefs win again, being 'competitive" in 2024 should not be the goal. Being VERY GOOD from 2025-2029 should be the goal. I am going to talk to Mack - see what he wants and if he wants to be traded - thats fine. Bosa and Williams gone; Kendricks, Parham and if Fox doesn't fit - gone

Trade back in the draft - get a bunch of picks

Next year is Next year. When Kelce and Reid retire they will be more than vulnerable and they will be our cannon fodder! I see at least a 20% drop off in competitiveness.
Chiefs won the Superbowl with 10 Rookies....

Allbright thinks the Chargers are draft Mims, the RT from Georgia at 5

I think that seems early. And if thats the case - if they can trade back, trade back.

I want picks picks and more picks.
