Simi Fehoko did not run the 40-yard dash at the 2021 NFL Scouting Combine. He was a standout wide receiver from Stanford and participated in other drills, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Combine was mostly virtual and many drills were conducted at Pro Days instead. Fehoko did run the 40-yard dash at Stanford's Pro Day, where he recorded a time of 4.43 seconds.

You’re right—Simi Fehoko ran impressive 40-yard dash times at his Pro Day. He recorded times of 4.39 and 4.37 seconds. These times showcased his speed and athleticism, which contributed to his draft stock and highlighted his potential as a deep threat in the NFL. Thanks for pointing that out!

Where is this "OFFICIAL" 4.44 time coming from (I'm curious) if he did NOT run at the Combine due to Covid? Where's that source? I want to look it up.
Why not just count the AT CHAT GPT (That I corrected).
Why not just count the "Unofficial At the Pro Day" time?
Wasn't "unofficial" counting as" official" since there was no combine that Covid year. What if he never ran in the 1st place? What do you have to go by?
    Bottom line is, he's FAST.for a BIG 6'4" 218-227 guy.
Anybody who runs a sub 4.40 has my attention. Including Woods. Can they play though? That’s always the question.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
    Let’s win one for Mack.

When somebody doesn't run at the combine their official times show up on on nfldraftscout and they also show up sometimes in another comebine site that shows all their comenine and /or proday results. Draftscout is a real good source and I'd trust that over ChatGPT lol.

There are articles from his proday that say he ran 'unofficial times" of 4.39 and 4.37. NFL.com.has those unofficial times

Here is another one with his proday results with the 4.44. not don't say official but when it's all updated after the UN official times, I assume that is the official time with Draftscout.
But, who knows since there isn't anything with the word official that I've seen. Only Unofficial

But again I'll state, it don't really matter. Guyton ran a 4.38 and he isn't good at anything else as a receiver.
A 40 time does not define how good a WR will be! If it did, Keenan would of been out of the league long ago.

But, if you want to keep the thought he runs a 4.37, then cool, you do that!
He is still more a Guyton talent than McConkey.
also True of Jerry Rice....and Brandon Rice who has very similar physical skills as his dad with more speed....

BUT there is another rule... you cannot coach speed!..... speed is an element that wins games..... when you try to cover someone faster than you, one false move and they are gone!

Fehoko > Guyton because of size, weight (with speed), special teams prowess. JG was just speed. Makes sense to me, what do you think?
I don't care who was there. He isnt in charge of the times.
        They are still unofficial times.

Once more I'll say, a 40 time does not make a WR good.amd Fehoko hasn't been able to crack the 53 this far on l at least 2 other teams? 3 teams im not even sure.
Chark is faster, McConkey is at least as fast if not a little faster. Keenan much slower and he better than all of them. He just isn't going to be a big deep threat.

If Fehoko makes it, good for him. If he doesn't, I trust Harbaugh on this more than I did Staley. It's not like we lack speed at WR now.

It's why I haven't tried making many predictions. This staff i just have much more faith in than the previous three. Whoever makes the 53 makes the 53, I won't complain....unless Stick in one and we didn't upgrade with a trade.

I don't believe Jerry's official oft-cited 40 time of 4.7+ at all as proof that slow receivers can still torch defenders. not for a second. I saw him run, I saw him run away from DBs regularly. I saw him run away from Charger DBs the entire fucking superbowl. He wasn't 4.3 but he wasn't getting run down from behind like he would have if he were really >4.7. its bullshit as far as I'm concerned.

DBs were all slower back in his day too. 4.4 was a rare DB back then, it was a rare WR too. 4.5 - 4.6 CBs and 4.6-4.8 S's were common. now those are unheard of. players are faster across the board.

I hope to see Brandon come out and have a great game this weekend.

What was Jerry Rice's fastest 40 time?

            between 4.45 and 4.71 seconds

San Francisco 49ers (1985–2000) Rice's record-breaking season at Mississippi Valley State caught the attention of NFL scouts. Sources vary on his 40-yard dash time, which was measured between 4.45 and 4.71 seconds.

Speed always helps, yet there are so many examples of guys who excelled with mediocre speed. Ed Reed is one. Terrell Suggs is another. Keenan Allen certainly didn't have the benefit of elite speed, even early in his pro career.

I agree with that..... but what most people dont realize is how fast all NFL players are.(mosrt OL can run faster than the average fan)... the differnce between 4.3 and 4.6 is noticable, BUT its just a few steps......or less...
Jerry was a big, strong very smooth and efficient long striding WR..... if you run a 4.4 or 4.5 you will catch up to him but as soon as you try and grab him, you lose alot of speed, slip off, and Rice pulls away.sometimes easily... and the football field is not that big so not much time or room to catch up once you lose your stride.... Rice did not waste moves.... and like some people, he did not run great 40 times but he played faster on a football field.... he was so smooth and Montana would place balls perfectly so Rice did not have to break stride...... Remember the first TD he had against DEN ibn SB blowout...... DEN top safety tried to blow up Rice with an extremely hard hit and just hit Rice and fell down..... and Rice just walked into the enddzone with all of the DEN defense watching with jaws dropped..... in their faces game was over.... RICE is in HOF for a reason....he was a great one....

and I was at that SB......where Chargers DB's looked like they were stuck in quicksand compared to Rice.....

We went to the games even before they were a MLB team. Was it called Westlake Park? There was a large shopping center there the last time I visited SD. I loved the right fielder (Brown?), he had a great arm.
Westgate Park! Yes, it was where Fashion Valley Mall is now, pretty much at the juncture of I-8 and Hwy 163 in Mission Valley.

I attended some minor league Padre games there. The Pads were the AAA affiliate for the Cincinnati Reds. I actually saw Tommy Perez play as a minor leaguer in about 1961. I also saw a couple of preseason MLB games there, specifically the Dodgers vs. the Houston Colt .45s, and Angels vs. Milwaukee Braves.

Westgate Park had a corrugated metal roof that covered the stands down bother the first base and third base lines. Made a huge clatter when a foul ball landed on it. I also remember ushers coming and confiscating foul balls from fans. They wouldn't let you keep them!

Kap ran a ton of zone reads in SF & JJ also ran it well, albeit to a lesser degree, at Michigan And of course, GRo had Lamar in Baltimore. Doesn’t explain the Perez signing, but that might be more about filling QB3 or even a PS role.

In the QB room and on the sideline, Easton is Herbert's Kellen Clemons.

Yup. Let’s hope he doesn’t see the field during the regular season. Maybe during garbage time when we are winning with 30+ points
