    Welcome TE Hayden Hurst

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports a deal between free agent TE Hayden Hurst and the Chargers is “in the works.”

RapSheet confirmed a post from earlier that suggested Hurst was on the way to the Chargers. While the two sides haven’t agreed to a deal yet, the former No. 25 overall pick in the 2018 draft is more than familiar with Chargers’ offensive coordinator Greg Roman, as the two spent a year together in Baltimore. Hurst has appeared in just 26 games over the last three seasons and caught 18 passes for 184 yards and one touchdown last season.

And im honestly still not counting out Bowers. I wouldn't count out Nabers or Odunze if we brought in a mediocre WR. This scheme features TEs. Im not feeling great about the TE group to be honest. I would have preferred a trade for Likely. lol

Lets see how this all unfolds.

How is he as a blocker? Your're right about Bowers, neither of these TEs strike me as a threat with the ball so we will still need that playmaker in the TE room.

Prepare for a trade down and an OT, folks…

This team desperately needs more picks in this draft.
          BAD.

There has to be a gem in this somewhere. In H2 I trust.

I think the first move back is the low hanging fruit trade. And thats letting the Giants take 5 for a QB like McCarty. Teams may battle for that pick. Id force the Giants to give us 6/47. Vikes may send us a 1 next year for a QB. Really need the QB4 hype to pick up. Need Nabers to show well at his pro day. Teams may also battle for one of the 3 WRs. Alt could be a target for a LT needy team.

Hayden has struggled with depression, suicidal ideation, drugs & alcohol when his pro baseball aspirations ended prematurely. He has since started a foundation for mental health awareness. I don’t know where his football career will lead, but I’m definitely rooting for him.

The first time Hayden Hurst lost control of his mental health happened in an 18-foot circle of dirt.

The last time Atlanta played in Dallas, Hayden Hurst and Dak Prescott came together to break the stigma against mental health 🤝-NFL

His nickname at South Carolina was "Garnet Thor" and "Big Red Machine"
Mr. Topcat, what do you say?
I'd prefer to stay away from "Thor" since there's only 1 mothalova bad enough for "Thor" and he wears number 10.

                      Brock-Stock takes a hit.
Seeing less and less options if we stick with pick 5

Ankle injuries, foot stress fracture, hamstring pull. I wouldn't be surprised if Ben Herbert has him on a program before he gets on a plane to head out to LA.
