Sad. Hope his winter years are as smooth as can possibly be for both him and his family.

I'm hoping that he'll be well enough to be at LT's HOF induction.

Sad news. My mother was diagnosed with dementia 3+ years ago and it has been a slow downward spiral since then. Not easy for anyone, especially for her as she is now progressed to the point where she does not understand why she is the way she is. Hopefully Marty has many years of awareness and function ahead and that he will donate his brain to CTE study after the disease finally takes him.

Best wishes to Marty, in the end, he was a good guy and a good coach.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

That's a tough thing to hear. I liked Marty. Best wishes to him and Pat.

It's sad to hear that. I wish the Chargers would do something to honor him, as well as head coach Bobby Ross.

                      Tragic news, indeed.

Here in Tennessee, we're still sad about losing legendary Coach Pat Summitt at age 63 to that dread disease.

I hope Coach Schottenheimer is able to enjoy Tomlinson's induction as well.

                      What a fine man.

He was battling the disease when he was still coaching us. I remember when he forgot he could kick a field goal on 4th and 11.
