    Way to go Whiz

Gordon with a 100+ yard game, you have 1st and goal at the 2 and you call four straight passes?

    Jackass.

Does Rivers still have the authority to call plays himself at the line?

I still contend this is where a head coach with balls walks up to Wiz and says Run it.

Reminds me of the Redskins? game back in 2013 (McCoy and Whiz's first year here).

If the play come in slow than the QB doesn't have time do anything about it. That's why Norv don't let QB audible, he's afraid of the delay of game penalty.

I don't know about Frank Weich but Whiz did have history of thinking a long time to decide on a play, dating back to the OC days in PIT.

But bottom line is if the play calls suck, the playcaller have to responsible for it, not the passer/executor on the field.

In spite of the homefield reffing and in spite of our kicking game this game was actually winnable. We needed a more sure-handed WR today. One that doesn't tip them up for defenders to catch. Numbskulls! We needed a Demarryus Thomas.

Agree that this game was totally winnable but Thomas is definitely not a sure handed receiver.

Just like he did at Washington to lose a game.
