I'm sure this is just a mental roadblock for me, but just about the only scenario where I would be a bit salty would be a trade down to then select JC Latham.

Feels too much like Telesco's first round Alabama RT, DJ Fluker, from the last failed regime. Bad taste in my mouth.

A lot of names in this thread. Does Hortiz surprise us all with an off the wall pick?
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

            What say you?
Feel free to add your trade predictions, but the primary purpose of this thread is to get two names of draftees.

And Cooper will be viewed as a last name for those wondering.

oh man.... thought it was a little like Scrabble, and "Cooper" was a triple word score !!

This is my main fear. Trying to outsmart everyone else rarely works. Not that I don't trust Hortiz, but he is a rookie GM and is probably out to make a point. I mean, if we stay at 5, I have no problem taking anyone ranked in the 4-7 bracket. All the WRs and Alt I'd be fine with, but if their mind is on Latham, Fuaga, Fashanu or the likes of Arnold, Mitchell or anyone else mentioned in the 8-15 range, then I want a trade down.

Keeping it simple, taking no chances is what I want because hopefully it'll be a long time until we next pick in the top 5.

I'd hate to think what we would do if were stuck with MH2 or Nabers...geez what a tragedy....I wonder how many teams would like this tragedy...

Not really my point. If they have the choice of Harrison or Nabers yet choose to draft Mitchell or Fashanu at 5. Would you be happy, or would you preferred they traded down?

The question I'd be asking is why are they fixating on other positions instead of taking what's right in front of them. WE DON"T NEED A TACKLE THIS HIGH! WE have crap at WR and it will show badly regardless of anything we do unless they have a solid plan B once they trade out of 5.
