I honestly have no idea what to think about who we end up picking. We have a lot of holes to fill and what Harbaugh/Hortiz prioritize could very well run contrary to what we think here.

I totally get the love for a WR at 5 - solves a huge hole. Yet I have a sneaking suspicion they won't pick one there. If not, I hope we trade back with the Vikings. In that case, taking Bowers at 11 and an OT at 23 would be my dream scenario. But I'm not sure Bowers lasts until 11 so, maybe a tackle and a defender???

I guess we just have to go with the flow and in Harbaugh/Hortiz we trust.

LOL - believe me, during the week I am making up for the sins on the weekend! Maybe I'll add a beer or a bourbon after. One thing that sucks about living in Nashville is the draft doesn't start until 7.

Bowers just makes so much sense. He will be in almost every offensive play either as a blocker or pass catcher and he will be a huge tgt for Herbert or JJ if Herbert is traded (kidding). The good news is we don't have to wait much longer to find out thank god...lol

I live on the east coast too, in Virginia. The draft will actually start at 8pm for us Yankee Doodle Dandies.

If the pick at #5 is Alabama RT J.C. Latham (as currently rumored), I can't help but notice the irony, that Tom Telesco's first ever pick as Chargers' GM was Alabama RT D.J. Fluker.

In this pick, Harbaugh reminds me of the prison warden in Cool Hand Luke.

Yep...if you'll recall, in that movie Paul Newman, the chain gang inmate, acted as if he was the warden's pet gofer running errands for him, while in reality, he was setting up his escape in the dump truck...I think Trader Joe is like Newman, setting it all up to pull a fast one...
