      5-7.7 (Ekeler short) 213 4.46

PFF rank 183 "Vidal is a rocked-up, explosive athlete, but his vision for space needs to speed up for him to earn a rotational role in the NFL."

"Vidal is arguably the best pass blocking running back in the draft—which is why he led my pre-Combine running backs preview—and he showed there is more to his game than just as a situational player. Vidal ran a 4.46 40-yard dash and had very fast feet—again, one of the best in the Duce Staley drill."

BPA of the RBs. Good pick.
Who has it better than us?

Well that's our RB room. Gus Bus, Dobbins, Vidal. And possibly a scrub. Maybe Spiller but a UDFA might also make it.

Wow. A small school sleeper. He was a riser pre draft. Our Ekeler replacement. And he protects the QB, a big requirement to me.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Love this pick. Very nice draft. No confounding WTF picks in the middle of the draft like we USED to do with the other guy. Speaking of confounding picks is JT Woods still a Charger?

I was really impressed with him at the senior bowl, if I'm being honest I hadn't heard of him before that, but he looked so good in mobile that he's been on my radar ever since...I thought he might be available in the 7th but his stock had been going up steadily for the last couple of months...

Got a RB built very similar to Blake Corum! Definitely needed a speedy RB!
