Chargers open as a 2.5 underdog at Carolina.

    Disgust (deliberate misspelling).

Chargers knowing full well they are out of playoff contention with zero pressure on them will play their best game of the season.

Chargers by 30, Phillip Rivers has 4 TD's in the 4th quarter alone with zero interceptions.

Mike McCoy wastes zero time outs.

Pagano's defense is stout all game long and is especially good against both the run and the pass.

Cam Newton is sacked nearly every time the Chargers are close to him with zero escapes.

We get a td on both a kick off return and AND a punt return.

Our punter has 3 70 yard punts and 2 punts that land just inside the 1 yard line and stick like a nice sand wedge shot.

You forgot one thing - Spanos gets so excited after the game that he gives McCoy a 5 year contract extension.

Carolina is going to be pissed after the game they played tonight.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Somehow, after that awful Panther ass kicking today, the point spread has crept up to 3.

Because they will be angry, practice like mad man all week, rebound and unleash it out on us, lol. We're always caught teams in the wrong time this season, it's crazy. Either when they were playing their best football or they have some kind of big motivation.

Talented and well coached teams tend to rebound after an embarrassment. SEA was playing mad today because they got beat badly in the rain last week against TB.

Could be 7 and it don't matter. Point spread means nothing unless you are betting on the game as far as I'm concerned.

Its going to be in the low 40s for the game too. I had intended to go as im 2 hours from Charlotte and my 9 year old hasnt been to a game before but not sure its worth paying the price for admission with both teams sputtering so much and to freeze my butt off in the wind...have to think more on that.

Odds are they will get Kuechly and the other guy back from concussion protocal. I expect a better defense than the debacle in Seattle. That said I give it pretty even odds. Should be a close game as usual.
