I did and he was very good in NE. I dont know what happened to him and he wasnt on a roster last season. If he is done that is a very quick regression or attitude turn that ruined his career. Playing for Staley isnt the same as playing for Billichick though. Mystified.

Why would they move Slater? He was an all pro at LT and Alt made a successful move to RT. If it aint broke....

my guess is that it'll be Slater---Becton---Zion---draft pick/free agent---Alt...with Bozeman, Pipkins, Salyer, and maybe another draft pick or another cheap veteran as backups...
I have a hard time thinking they would move Becton to LG when RG was their biggest weakness and that is where Becton played last year and thrived.

If they don't give him the opportunity, someone else out there will...
Well, its a real head scratcher why the guy is not a solid / good NFL guard.
          Played well with Linsley.

Intelligent, moves well .... I think there are balance issues with the guy so that if he's leaning one way he can't recover,
and he's often leaning the wrong way not anticipating the need to redirect.

Maybe these problems are mitigated at center, where he doesn't have to wait as long to find some action.

OL isnt a finished product. Bozeman still sucks so we will see what they do for LG and OC. Im not buying Bozeman is a better OG and im not sold Zion will be a good OC. Need to draft another OG or OC, or both.

It was a pitiful grade. Hortiz signed some good players for cheap. To give it an F is short sighted. To have no faith in our GM and HC is an F.

Looking at the situation, the plan could be ultimately that next season Bozeman and Zion could be the depth next man up Olineman, at least by the seasons end if we draft correctly! Both of them are not great starters but are fine for depth and have a full season starting in our O. That could of been the plan all along. Same goes for Pip he could fill the role as a back up! Since Harbaugh has already said our Oline is a weapon and one of the most important components, that would make sense spending a little more for our depth.

One thing TT never, EVER did with the Oline.

I think Zabel and Grant are both there and I would not be surprised to see one of them picked - the Eagles reinforced how important good trenches are.

I imagine A G will be drafted that was a converted OT who can play swing tackle. There are a bunch of them in this draft. And he will replace Pipkins.

His bonus is due on 5th day of new league year (Monday?).

By that time I suspect Mark Andrews will be a Charger 1A pass weapon.

Also re draft I could see Henderson to Chargers as we need juice at the RB position.

1st rd it will be BPA.
And that's a pretty damn good position to be in.

I know that the RB field is deep... although, not as deep as some suggest (not all of those players fit our style).
In any case, it's a 1-year deal. As a team that truly wants to run the ball, they should get the best RB they can get.
My opinion is that they will be better off on 3rd downs,
either because they'll have more 3rd and ones, or because Harris is a better option as a receiver than any RB last year.

They'll wear down defenses more effectively .... which, in truth, they rarely did last year.

                        Fewer back breaking runs from last year (3?). More methodical 4rth quarter marches down field, with a tight end being more instrumental;
Less 2nd half stalls where they can't get anything going.

Harris should hold up through the playoffs. Dobbins got injured and never really returned: less ypc than Gus Edwards against Houston.
The offense stank without Dobbins last year .... they looked okay against Las Vegas and surprised against Denver in the 2nd half.

They will give him a hard look at OC and if he doesnt cut it, they need a better OC than Bozeman next to him. Zion has looked better with Linslay. Hard to imagine he forgot how to play OG.

They need to decide on his 5th year option and they need to decide that by May 2nd. IDK ...but im sure they have a plan. Boze can not be our starting OC.
