No because he is underused. But he gets open and catches everything near him. He should get more snaps to see what he can do. Hopefully he’ll overperform in the exhibition games.

There is no doubt that first contract players give you the most bang for the buck. Draft and develop is a winning strategy compared to trading for top dollar vets on their downhill slide. Cheap vets are a great addition to build depth though.

I have read many studies, well Jason from OTC.com - and if you have players over 30 play a lot of meaningful snaps - usually that does not bode well

The Steelers could be an outlier - so maybe they will be good. But you build your team through the draft, players on second contracts and augment with veterans like you said for depth

According to this website, QJ led the team in drops with 7, compared with Palmer with 4. QJ also had a higher number of catchable passes.
