A week ago CBF, I was probably on the same page as you regarding Njoku. But I try to let investigation direct my opinions.Originally posted by CanadianBoltFan View PostWhile a good chunk of TPB has been shitting on Njoku....the qualified Chargers FO chose to make him the first free agent they are interested in post comp pick deadline.
The qualified Chargers FO let Njoku walk right out the door, much to some Charger fans dismay/rage. I sure wasn't surprised.
From what I read...it was Njoku's camp seeking a meeting with the Charger brass, not the other way around.
The more I investigate Njoku the more I want to run away. His production is in hard decline, three seasons running. Browns fans/mediots describe a steep fall off in his movement ability.
And I'll be frank. In Google searches I see Njoku showing up shirtless to major interviews and events--when everyone else is respectably clothed. He shows up at several events wearing nothing but tight swimming trunks!? The dude is more Paris Hilton than a football player at this point, IMO. It's no surprise he hoped to move closer to Hollywood on the Charger's Dime.
SUPER. RESOLUTE. PASS.
I wasn't shitting on him before...but I am now. Hey David N, don't come stalking up my team's backside. Don't come 'round here no more.

Don't bye it !Originally posted by Fouts2herbert View Post
Hortiz has a good nose for when to offer a guy decent money and when not to give a guy everything he wants, his deals have always protected the club from long term cap issues, it might not be about the total dollar amount as much as maybe Njoku wants too many years or maybe he wants to wear Antonio Gates' number, IDK...

I could swear that I knew this would happen, i.e, our patience wearing thin after the draft for a brand new player.Originally posted by CanadianBoltFan View Post
All is quiet isn't it? Often we hear that a player had a visit but left with no deal. In this case radio silence.
In other news, the MSSM (main stream sport media) doesn't even mention us in any higher echelon category but to their credit, they also completely dismiss the Jags (we are not at the bottom end of the consensus well, like those kitties though!).
