It was not one sided like you're suggesting. There were a lot of Charger fans at the game. More than before.

And opposing fans always show up for Chargers or Rams games. The Southern California region is a tourist destination and brings in a lot of people from out of the state. There's a lot more to do there than a place like Kansas City.

AFCWEST compare and contrast the DPI on Bengals Daijohn Anthony in Week 2 vs the non call DPI on Chiefs Brian Cook Week 3.

Both these plays directly resulted in Chiefs victories.

Any casual football fan can observe the inconsistencies in NFL officiating.

Khalil Mack and Tuli Tuipulotu led the Chargers with the two best overall game grades against the Chiefs.

Last week against the Steelers was a rough one for the offense. This week, it wasn’t much different.

The Chargers scored 10 quick points in the first quarter thanks to a pair of turnovers by the Chiefs. Past that? Nothing. Cameron Dicker missed wide right on a 55-yard field goal (which would have been 50 if not for a penalty on the offensive line) and then came up short on a fourth-and-short from within the Chiefs’ five-yard line.

Unsurprisingly, the defense came to play once again. The pass rush harassed Patrick Mahomes all day and the secondary held tight enough outside of a 54-yard bomb on a busted coverage to rookie Xavier Worthy. Sadly, it wasn’t enough as the Chiefs scored 17 unanswered throughout the final 45 minutes of regulation.

The Chargers are now on a bye in Week Five so that they can lick their many wounds leading up to a road date with the Broncos.

Let’s go ahead and dive in to see if there’s anything of note the team could hang a hat on. Offense

        Best (min. 20 snaps played)

        WR Ladd McConkey - 81.9
        TE Will Dissly - 73.8
        C Bradley Bozeman - 61.8
        WR Joshua Palmer - 60.2
        OG Zion Johnson - 59.0

McConkey had his best game as a pro and it coincided with his highest game grade from Pro Football Focus.

Dissly had a solid outing, grading as the team’s second-best run blocker with a 65.7.

Bozeman, after being the teams worst starting offensive lineman through three weeks, was this week’s best. He recorded the team’s top pass blocking grade at 70.3.

        Worst

        OG Sam Mustipher - 37.1
        TE Hayden Hurst - 43.7
        RB J.K. Dobbins - 49.2
        OG/T Jamaree Salyer - 50.0
        OG/T Trey Pipkins - 53.7

This one shouldn’t surprise anyone. Mustipher was the Chargers’ worst-graded player on offense against the Chiefs with an abysmal 37.1. His pass block grade of 21.5 was somehow only the second worst grade in that area while his run block grade was the worst among the starting five.

Hurst recorded the worst run block grade at 33.6 and the worst receiving grade for the Chargers at 52.7.

Salyer and Pipkins both were solid in run blocking but struggled in pass pro. They recorded pass block grades of 50.8 and 60.2, respectively.
What did Palmer do? One nice block and he was schemed open on one catch.

The Chiefs won Super Bowl IV in 1970, 54 years ago.

The Chiefs were elite in that era of football.

That must be a nice early memory for you.

The Chiefs were the last team to win the Super Bowl before the merger. They were one of two non NFL teams to win it - the Jets being the first the previous season. The Packers won the first two Super Bowls, the first against the Chiefs and SB II against the Raiders. It looked like the AFL as a league was not up to the NFL's level. But then the Jets and Chiefs won SB III & IV, to prove the AFL was the NFL's equal as the leagues merged. The Chiefs and Jets then embarked on decades of futility, never reaching the SB again. Until the Mahomes era under Andy Reid for the Chiefs. The Jets have never made it back.

              Great detail.
Having a SB victory in your legacy must be nice.
Having none vs going for three in a row leads to entirely different perspectives.

Not sure why opposing fans need to come here and give us the breeze. Don't they have their own forums?

There is absolutely no one who understands what it feels like to be a Charger fan.

I dunno man, whenever I come across Browns fans, I get the urge to give them some money, or a hot meal.
