I believe it’s 89% and it’s measured eos so if they sign or give and extension with a bonus etc it can be used.

Rich people are greedy. Goodell is greedy. Money to me isnt real important. I just want to live comfortably with no worries, not try to be the richest. If i had a billion, my thinking is why would i NEED another billion,....im doing fine!

But thats me, rich fucks arent into the world of reality, especially if they were born into it.
I’m sure they want to win but it’s less important than increasing NFL revenue, team values etc. a championship is nice but it doesn’t make your franchise automatically worth more, it has to be parlayed into other revenue streams. It sometimes works like the cowboys but other teams with rings don’t get anywhere near that. Really it’s all down to the financials.

Im with you I can’t fathom 1 billion much less two or three but the uber rich can and do. Heck they track it https://www.forbes.com/real-time-bil.../#3c97d0d93d78

It’s always tough at any football level to evaluate lineman. I know I’ve talked to my son who plays on the line in highschool and thought he let a free rusher through and it was play design and someone else was supposed to pick them up or another player didn’t execute correctly and all you hear from the stands is “block” but in reality they are doing what they’re told to do. IMO it has to be much harder for anyone to grade an NFL Lineman since those blocking schemes are much more nuanced and there are 32 different. Anyone outside the coaching staff and the players themselves that is.
Exactly. Casual fans dont know their assignments and grading RBs for example, how does a PFF grader know what the calls are, where the hole is supposed to be, if its a trap block, zone block? Just baffles me sometimes when i see some grades. Good coaches know what they are doing as opposed to PFF graders. Just my opinion but i understand fans like these grades. But how often have we seen them and say......Pipkins was our best OL last week? How the fuck can that be .....he give up 2 sacks

I think that's right and I think its averaged over a few years. Not sure what the penalty is if you don't spend but intention is to make all 32 competitive.

Can't correct for bad personnel or ownership problems.

Instead they protect their investment by having a forced cap on how much players can make so they can keep the rest. It’s all smoke and mirrors, look at me I care about winning, and on the other hand they are pocketing money left and right. Winning matters far more to you and me. If money weren’t involved you think these people would care about football? 😆
I don't think it's black and white. Of course billionaires care about money. That's pretty obvious to me. If the players fail to stand up for themselves then I agree, the billionaire owners will pocket as much as they can legally get away with. Their ego wants to win for two reasons...Status achieved AND winning increases the value of their team. Winning achieves both of those things.

I agree, I just think that they know where the broadcasting money and the other income come from and how it’s shared. I think they are savvy enough to understand that getting certain matchups and eyeballs leads to even more money for the league and thus them. Anyway I have no way of proving it but watching the NFl it’s hard to believe that much ineptitude from the refs is explainable outside of larger reasons. Any league that wants to truly create a level playing field wouldn’t keep making the rules more difficult and complex while not having refs that are full time. Why do they do that? It’s not stupidity, then why?

Still pissed he is the guy who brought Bowers and Jackson Powers-Johnson to the Raiders, two players I wanted for us.

Tom Brady like MJ before him. GOATS as players. Mediocre as GMs.

TT def was not calling shots in Las Vegas.

Ironically, TT had a great draft for the Raiders and was fired because he got stuck with a horrible HC and Brady evidently wanting to flex in running the team.
