I hope the Bills don't revert back to the team that got trounced by the Dolphins. Sunday they had a hard-fought win at home against Tampa to wipe away the stench of the Miami loss, they are traveling on a short week, we want the Bills to win this game.

Raiders playing tonight gives raiders a mini bye going into Chargers-raiders game.....

Money Smith (Chargers announcer) kind of dismissing raiders thinking Chargers can just put DJ on Bowers and we can keep everyone up to stop0 the run and dare raiders to beat us throwing the balll....

DJ is not a great coverage player....and cannot cover a big fast TE like Bowers..... lol

Smith works for Chargers and has that kind of cocky dismissive attitude.... no wonder the team does..

Raiders play Sunday against the Browns. Browns defense is pretty stout.

Chargers actually have a REAL bye going against the Raiders

Money Smith is a homer, thats for sure. But he is the voice of the team.
And not too many teams can stop Bowers. Only the Raiders QB play can slow down Brock Bowers

The Chargers are the #5 seed 7-4

The Bills #6 7-4

Jax #7, but if they win @ Ariz Sun they might supplant the Chargers as 5 seed, not sure how the tie-breaker will work, Bolts, Bills & Jax would all be 7-4, Chargers have the best conference win % of the three, but Jax has a win over them.

Texans #8 6-5

Chiefs #9 5-5

Ravens #10 5-5

Suddenly so many AFC teams in playoff contention.

Actually, I think the bye came at the right time. A terrible loss allows the coaches to figure some stuff out, the players to get away, mentally, physically and go back to work Monday and its Raiders week!

The Chargers have a brutal schedule after they return from the bye. The Raiders, Cowboys and Texans looked like presumed wins. The Raiders are still, but the Texans are no joke, fortunately that game is at SoFi, even the Cowboys look tougher to beat at Jerry World compared to a few weeks ago. Add in the Eagles, Chiefs and Broncos, it's not going to be easy.

I actually am good with the bye week as a fan. Just a week to watch without the personal involved

Sure I wanted Buffalo to win but Houston winning wasn't the worst thing either, gives another AFC team another loss and an AFC loss at that

But I will be watching the games that affect the Chargers -- of course the Chiefs/Colts might be the one that I will have the most rooting interest of course

The Cowboys definitely look tougher with defensive additions and health and their offense was already humming. Our defense will need to carry us and we'll need to rely on Dicker in some of these games. That and Omarion Hampton returning and being the guy he was starting to look like earlier in the season

Texans sacked Allen 8 times which was a career high for Allen. 15 pressures as well. CJ Stroud, their starting QB is coming back next game.

Cowboys didn't look good imo. I think LVR and DAL are high probability wins.

If I'm right - Harbaugh needs to find a way to win at least 1 of the other 4 to secure a WC spot. This is why Chargers are still favored to win a playoff spot.

Unfortunately, it will be a pyrrhic achievement as I can't see them going even past first WC weekend with that OL. But weird things can happen - MIA smoked BUF a week ago. I'll still watch.

most people, including me, and podcasters say they believe that Chargers will beat Raiders..... they all said that about JAX also!???

many say that about beating cowboys.... but for most its about a 50-50 thing.... dallas defense is supposed to be bad like JAX, NYG, WASH, MIA, ..etc who we struggled or lost against......

Dallas has a very good running game.... which gives chargers issues.... and they have 2 elite WR's and an elite TE.... all of which do great against our defense.....

Dallas supposedly does not have a pass rush, but other teams without a pass rush have dominated our bad OL this season!!!

so no guarantees we win this game ...and this is only the 2nd game we have a chance to win.... the other 4 games, we have far less chance to win...DEN game is ONLY an possible win if they lock up #1 seed early and are resting starters..... other wise they dominte us.... even if Herbert is still healthy!

of the 6 games we must win at least 3 to have a shot at tie brekers for WC......

if team shows upo we shoudl beat raiders even though Crosbyt likely will have 3-4 sacks!

if we do not beat raiders...season is over.....
if we beat raiders we WILL lose to eagles who have great defense nd great running game...
if we do above and beat cowboys, we need to beat KC at home.... not likely.... Texans who basically shut out Bills... not liklely win..... and DEN at home.... if they are playing starters, we lose and it wont be close....
if we lose to cowboys, season is oiver...

Which of KC, TEX, or DEN will choke away game to chargers????...when the games count???

and winning 10 games only guarantees that we will be in a tie breaker for WC position..... we still may lose if multiple tiebreakers are involved.... so our odds became sooooo low due to stupidly being flat against JAX!!!!!!
