I like her less and less. We shall bravely forge on without her counsel, as a proud band of overly certain super duper duperty-do bros (and gals). Never let doubt get in the way of our self-confidence!

Devlin has been replaced. We very probably will play better team ball on OL.Give Herbert a clean pocket for 2.5 seconds, he knows where it's going, we're better. Not against OT. We will likely have Slater and Alt back and with them and a quality IOL Herbert can chat with McDaniel while he's making up his mind.
All of the playoff teams except a small few were top 10 OL. We were a huge outlier at #32 but we should never try that trick again. Forget the Magic Mike Jeanie bottle stuff - we don’t want a “poor” OL.

Herb has suffered for 6 years, its his turn to have a good OL.

Speak for yourself! Although my wishes coincide. Fix the darn IOL! Get a quality FA C, draft or sign a solid OG. Right up front, literally, give Herbert a pocket to work from. Quick outs are a topic McD has pointed out as an effective rush neutralizer. Brady made a living off the quick slant WR and a bump and run TE. McD is an evil genius at multiple quick targets and hand-offs. One hopes that Herbert has the will and intellect to learn to throw or hand off quickly in the face of pressure. McD will assure that he has outlets. Spending every cent on top OL is not a winning formula. We have two excellent OTs four ain't happening. Slater-Zion-Linderbaum-Ioane- Alt plus Hortiz choice of cost effective depth is my choice.

The 2025 NFL season is officially in the books and the offseason is quickly heating up. Congrats to the Seattle Seahawks on their Super Bowl victory, by the way — sometimes it can be easy

I like to socialize my recommendations and privatize your mistakes

I never said spend every penny, i wouldn’t do that. I also would not plan my 2026 OL with a starter named Cleveland. There’s a middle ground. Your starting line works just great for me.

Herbert’s intellect is not a concern for me.

dmac_bolt - it may not be every penny on OL but Hortiz cannot be that concerned about "sticker shock" because if the Chargers don't pay it, another team WILL pay it and make themselves better

Matt Bowen at ESPN put out list of where the top 50 FAs should go

              Linderbaum to the Giants
              Zion to the Raiders
              Edwards to the Chargers

I would gladly take Edwards over Zion

I went another direction this mock draft and having the Chargers targeting Wyatt Teller for 2 years $20 mil and James Daniels for 1 year prove it deal for $3 mil. That’s on top of signing Tyler Linderbaum. I feel like targeting Teller gives you a good stop gap RG for 2 years as they continue to build out their roster. So here it goes with a couple trade backs.

                29- OG Chase Bisontis
                55- DT Darrell Jackson Jr.
                86- Edge Dani Dennis-Sutton
                95- S Jalen Kilgore
                123- CB Domani Jackson
                167- TE Dae’Quan Wright
                190- WR Harrison Wallace III
                203- C Bryce Foster

If Denzel Boston is there at 22, I can see the Bills and 9ers wanting to move up to get him. He’s exactly who they both need.

That's the same cloth that Thelma and Louise were cut from! It may not result in getting to the finish line first, but-- DAMN!-- you're in for an exhilarating ride!

On Ioane, I finally got around to watching him. He doesnt pull alot, and they didnt run zone much in the stuff I watched...but when they did, he moved just fine. For those thinking we are gonna 180 the scheme and blocking concepts, and think we need lighter, more athletic IOL, dont let the size fool you...Hulk can smash, sure....but Hulk can also MOVE...Im buying
