The 3m roster bonus in 2029 doesn't come into play until 2029 - so that is not even guaranteed. I think its a good deal. Derwin gets all of his 2026 and 2027 money locked in - guaranteed. And if in the spring of 2028 - there is a bit of decline, they can release him or whatever, take a pay cut. But good deal - glad it got done - made a lot of sense to have him locked up
