That was a complete and total disaster and a sobering reality check about the vast difference in talent, skill, execution and coaching between the US team and a Belgium team that is nothing special.

Yep...the USA team is improved, but not all there yet...just too many inexplicable blunders...Originally posted by richpjr View PostThat was a complete and total disaster and a sobering reality check about the vast difference in talent, skill, execution and coaching between the US team and a Belgium team that is nothing special.

Also, during that lame Wonderwall celebration, one of England's players was injured...reminiscent of the Bolts lame Jackboyz celebration when Bosa cleated Derwin, taking him out of several games...Originally posted by wu-dai clan View Post
Wonderwall is supposed to be their Country Roads.
John Denver > Oasis.
Although I am not sure how much of a win that is.

You could see from the opening minutes that the USA was not ready for prime time. I watched the first half and turned the channel but as any idiot would, I recorded the rest in case they got their respective heads out of you know where. But yeah, I already deleted that stinker. I could not believe how many of our passes went almost directly to Belgian defenders.......it was a bit pathetic to watch. Oh well.....round of 16 which is about our status quo for the WC.
Now about that England vs Norway match Saturday.......Now THAT is a game I would love to attend!!!! Another battle of Vikings against Christians!!!!

omg, Argentina coming from behind and now ahead still in regulation stoppage over Egypt.
Argentina was down 2-0 until scores in the 79' and 83' by Argentina (last was Messi). Crazy..
Edit.... Argentina wins 3-2. Fernandez scored the winning goal after a contested challenge in the Argentina box. Egypt decimated.

Yup, Egypt's Cinderella wagon started to derail right at the 79th minute and then went completely off the rails shortly thereafter! Valiant effort by the Northeast Africans but cream just rose to the top at the end.Originally posted by Bolt-O View Postomg, Argentina coming from behind and now ahead still in regulation stoppage over Egypt.

I'm thinking it's almost like the Pats coming back in the Super Bown from 28-3. I'm a Messi fan, but just have to feel badly for the other side as well.Originally posted by Factotum View Post

The first game I watched was Mexico vs England and that was a good game. The United States? That was embarrassing. I keep hearing about the Norwegians and I’m going to try and watch. I would love to go to Norway and I want to take the train above the North Pole.

It is such a priviledge to get to see someone with the skill level of Messi play for La Albiceleste of Argentina...GOAT.Originally posted by Bolt-O View Post

But The Pharoahs of Egypt were jobbed.
BTW "La Celeste" loosely translates as "Powder Blue."Strange69...Adopted Bolt
