Allen is obviously in fact too slow.

He is slow. But he runs great routes an has great hands.

Allen is just a very difficult cover dating back to his Cal days. He's put on a show on the quick hitter routes. He gets tremendous separation early, then he can put on the double move and go deep. Then if you try to cheat on his short routes, he will burn you.
