We'll see what this does for Geramy Davis. Hopefully they can move Inman, but not get fleeced.

At this point, I want to keep Inman. 850 or so yards last year, that's a lot.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Great news for Williams, hopefully missing TC works out as well for him as it did Bosa. If we can't get something of value for Inman I don't see the need to trade him right now. Browns traded for Sammie Coates today so that's one less potential trade partner.

I hope Williams moves in to Rivers' house.... He needs as much time getting things down with Rivers as possible.

i think we need Inman....he is really the only sub for Allen on our roster and has very reliable hands. I liked Davis but dont think he showed more than Inmans known value. Wonder if they keep 6 wrs?

makes no sense to me to move Inman unless they are sure Allen and Williams are going to stay on the field and produce at least the 1st half of the season. Do you really want to take the chance of coming up short of healthy WRs later in the year and watch Rivers throwing to scrubs and forcing passes for INTs again?

I'm not sure what the coaching staff sees in Davis - but we don't get to seem him in practice like they do.

I don't think he's quite safe yet. He did have some solid plays in preseason though.

From what i understand is he is very reliable on underneath routes and able to take a big hit. He may be a guy they think can really help them secure first downs on 3rd down. Hes pretty good about using his size to block out db's on short routes. I think hes a safety valve type. And a good blocking WR. Hes built like Gordon.

He may be a little TE type guy for us. Play the slot as well.

They may see him taking Inman's snaps. Short to intermediate routes.

I didnt see what they saw either. I didnt see much of Artavis Scott in preseason either but he returned KOs and punts in college and was very reliable in short routes. Seems to have more value but i dont know. He is smaller than Davis.

The real question now is what # is MW going to take? I think he was hoping to get Davis's #11.

Yeah he does not want to be in the 80s. Maybe they cut Clemens to give MW #10. lol
