It just sounds to me like Bradley sees him as maybe a little more than some of you guys do. Early downs...sub packages. Not just a pass rusher etc. Im just gonna go with Bradleys opinion on this one. Because i have felt like this type of LB was something he has wanted and didnt have on the roster last year. And yes we were a good D last year. But we sucked against the run. And i cant remember how many times Emmanuel looked lost in coverage. I just think we have a larger role in mind for Nwosu. Maybe not 700 snaps that was rich on my part. But i dont see a pass rush specialist. I see someone Bradley really wants to max out. Attaochu. Emmanuel. McCain. I think those snaps end up in Nwosu's lap in the near future.

^^^^^^This is all i have been trying to say. Bradley says it himself. So take it up with him. lol

He helps this team a lot. I think we might not see him reach anywhere near hispotential in his rookie season but I think he has a future. It’s not hard to be an upgrade over the LBs in 2017.

    From PFF

The Chargers add USC edge defender Uchenna Nwosu, who led the draft class in both QB hits (22) and batted passes (10)
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Bradley may see a bit of Kam Chancellor in him.

I think he plays a lot.

base and Nickel. Can be a Blitzer or kick in to the Dline. What do I know? He's a good player .

The ESPN Radio crew was very high on this pick, especially in Gus Bradley's defense. Everyone agreed the Bolts stole James in the first round but "steal" was being thrown around pertaining to the Nwosu pick as well.

There is a real shortage of guys like him in this draft. Not many edge defenders who can use their hands well. A few like Arden Key and Harold Landry who are dip and get under the OT, but those guys aren't going to step in and project as OLB setting the edge. I wouldn't call him a steal as much as getting him about where he should go.
