Say what you want about the Chargers beating the crappy Bills, but they easily could've shown up flat with a big game coming up against the Rams. The Chargers have a history of choking under pressure and always screwing up, but they played a perfect game until they took their foot off the gas after going up 28-3. They were so dominant that they forced a player into retirement during halftime. I'm pretty sure no NFL team has done that before

In what might've been the least sexy game on the Week 2 slate, the Chargers took care of bidness in Buffalo. They blasted the Bills in the first half, then rode to a time-consuming second-half romp. Philip Rivers was an extremely efficient version of himself, completing 23 of 27 passes for 256 yards and three touchdowns. And, as I keep telling folks, Austin Ekeler can play. That's quite an RB2 (if he's indeed still just an RB2 at this point)

They looked like a dominant team against the Bills, but now face a major step up in competition against the Rams. Philip Rivers against the Rams defense will be fun.

The Fight for L.A. becomes literal on Sunday, and it could be the closest the Chargers come to a Super Bowl for a while.

The defense won't be right until Joey Bosa returns. But Philip Rivers is helping the offense operate at a high level, just in time for a big, cross-LA clash with the Rams.

The Chargers got right in Buffalo. Now, they travel across the proverbial street to visit the Rams.

Definitely a less-than-ideal time to be without Joey Bosa given Bolts will see Jared Goff, Jimmy Garoppolo, Derek Carr next three weeks.

The Chargers have the second-ranked offense in the NFL, according to ESPN's Football Power Index, trailing only the Saints. That offense will be tested in Week 3 against the Rams, who have the second-ranked defense, according to FPI. -- Koontz

The good news is that it didn't take the Chargers until Week 5 to get a win. Melvin Gordon, Mike Williams, and the offense did a stellar job in the first half, and the defense was largely solid against the Bills offense. While this performance may have been enough to win this game, the Chargers have to show up for all four quarters if they want a shot at beating the Rams.

            Top 10 from Rotoworld.

            1. Los Angeles Rams

            Record: 2-0

Last Week: 2Brandin Cooks seems to be adjusting well to his new digs. The first-year Ram topped 150 yards for the third time in his career Sunday as L.A. outclassed Arizona 34-0. Seriously, can Sean McVay quit it with this2. Jacksonville Jaguars

            Record: 2-0

            Last Week: 5

No Leonard FournetteKeelan ColeLook at this lunacy. Not a bad start for Florida as all three teams from the Sunshine State (the Buccaneers, Dolphins and Jaguars) will head to Week 3 with perfect records.

            3. Kansas City Chiefs

            Record: 2-0

            Last Week: 7

Oh, so why the Chiefs traded Alex Smith? Going from Smith to Patrick Mahomes4. Minnesota Vikings

            Record: 1-0-1

            Last Week: 3

Bill BelichickJon GrudenMike Zimmer could give Bill and his blackened soul a run for his money. This is ALL-TIME shade. Maybe it was warranted after Daniel CarlsonAdam Thielen went for 131 yards and a touchdown in Week 2, giving him 100-plus yards in back-to-back games. DeSean Jackson and JuJu Smith-Schuster are the only other receivers to do that this year.

            5. Philadelphia Eagles

            Record: 1-1

            Last Week: 1

Carson Wentz is due back this week but the reigning Super Bowl champs could be without star running back Jay Ajayi, who injured his back in a Week 2 loss to Tampa Bay. With Darren Sproles (hamstring) banged up as well, we could be seeing a lot of Corey ClementAlshon Jefferystill recovering from shoulder surgery and Mike WallaceNelson Agholor (eight catches for 88 yards and a touchdown in Week 2).

            6. Green Bay Packers

            Record: 1-0-1

Last Week: Aaron RodgersJimmy Graham led the Packers with 95 yards in that game, his most since Week 9 of 2016. Jamaal WilliamsAaron Jones7. New England Patriots

            Record: 1-1

Last Week: 4Josh Gordon for a fifth-round pick?! You may call Bill BelichickRex Burkhead saw just six touches on Sunday, five fewer than teammates Sony Michel and James White. Sunday marked Tom Brady8. Atlanta Falcons

            Record: 1-1

            Last Week: 8

After putting up a goose egg in Week 1, first-rounder Calvin Ridley announced his presence by compiling 64 yards and a touchdown Sunday in a 31-24 victory over Carolina. Tevin Coleman also had a nice day at the office, cruising to 125 yards (107 rushing, 18 receiving) while filling in for an injured Devonta Freeman. Matt Ryan9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

            Record: 2-0

            Last Week: 20

A week after throttling the Saints on their home field, the Bucs stayed hot with a convincing win over Philadelphia in Week 2. Conor McGregorRyan FitzpatrickDeSean Jackson now leads the league with 275 receiving yards. His three touchdowns so far are as many as he had all of last season.

            10. Los Angeles Chargers

            Record: 1-1

            Last Week: 13

Geez, MelvinAustin Ekeler have already combined for 456 yards (208 rushing, 248 receiving) and four touchdowns this year. After going his entire rookie season without scoring, 2017 first-rounder Mike Williams finally hit pay-dirt with a 10-yard touchdown grab in Week 2.
