This was a great pick by Telesco and the scouts. They didn't overthink it like a lot of dumb teams before them did. James is a game changing, rare talent. When someone like that is available, regardless of position, you take him. Raiders are such idiots. I remember watching the draft and figuring they would grab james right before us. Still a puzzle why so many teams let him slip past them

I had mentioned this before in another thread a while ago, but think how different the Raiders D would look with Mack and James in their lineup.

He has lived up to the hype and then some. Im sure he has made mistakes but his ratio of game impacting plays is mighty impressive. Never seen a rookie be literally all over the field like him. Never knew he had DE training...pretty cool he learned that so early. He can really move nirth or south on any play...ive got to think offensive coordinators will have to bring coverage his way if he threatens to rush.
