Conventional wisdom is your repaired knee is actually stronger than the other knee after intense muscle building/strengthening in any successful rehab to comeback from this surgery. I know mine was and I didn't have the type of expert resources available to me like pro athletes do. they've been telegraphing his solid recovery for awhile now, and running on it with no setbacks is a huge milestone. I'm sure they'll have him in a brace anytime he is on the field- even in practice.

If they plan to play him in the playoffs then it might be good for him to get some reps against the Broncos so that he isn't completely rusty on such a big stage.
Tom Telesco’s Results in 9 years as Chargers GM:

      - 69-74 record
      - 0 division titles in 9 yrs as GM
      - Worst record among all active GMs with same tenure
      - 6th worst winning percentage among all active GMs overall
      - 2 playoff wins despite elite QB all 9 yrs
      - Team still has the same weaknesses (Oline and run defense) that it had when hired as GM in 2013
      - Consistently puts together horrible depth, expects starters to never miss games

Raiders will beat Chefs so he will have extra week to get soreness out after getting reps against Donkeys

              On Chargers.com ...

A: Your guess is as good as mine. Henry has been practicing with the team, but he is not yet a part of the 53-man roster. He has a 21-day window in which the Bolts must choose whether to activate him or not, so we may have to wait a couple weeks to find out the answer.

Interesting we dont have to report his status until he is on the active roster. Would be a good surprise if he is ready to activate right before the playoff game if the 21 day window allows.

I'd like to see him get a few reps tomorrow to knock off the rust. Maybe 10 - 12 snaps..........

Agreed...let him get back in the ring a bit. Id prefer it not being in a pressure situation playoff game.

Chargers brought Ingram back after he tore his ACL in May and came back and played the final 4 games of the reg season that year (plus two playoff games).

It should be a simple medical decision. If his Doctors, physical therapists, trainers all agree his knee and leg muscles are back to 100% of functional normal, then there is no greater risk of re-injury (or injuring the other knee) than before he got hurt.
