I always had the highest regard for Joiner, especially for his attention to detail in regards to patterns. So what does this article say about Joiner the coach? Was this a Joiner thing or was it a Norv thing? (Joiner coaching up Floyd in relation to the playbook).

OK, very odd. I just added my avatar of Malcom and went back to see how it looks, and the first thread to pop-up is one named Floyd......... SpookyLast edited by johnnywyoming; 06-18-2013, 08:57 AM.Thank God for morons. Without them who would the rest of us have to blame things on?

Interesting article. It kind of paints Charlie in a negative light, but I suspect we just needed change. After so many years, guys just aren't going to learn anything new from the same coaches. That really does make a case for having some turnover among the coaching staff or maybe a case for more assistants that bring something new to the table.

I don't think it is painting Joiner in a negative light. The new system is requiring the receivers to adapt. The new coaches are able to break this down in theory and in a practical manner. They are able to show them what is expected and have given them different drills to be able to hard code what they want via repetition. with schematic change, comes the need for acquiring different skill sets. Let's hope it makes our receivers harder to defend.
