There are some negative comments in the game threads only because we have seen it too many times but Lynn has turned the fortunes around and we win the games we used to lose with 5 years of Norvel(though he had the one good year with Martys team) and the three years with McCoy. There isnt a ton of negativity .....except from one poster. Everything is negative.

Waiting for 1 pm Sunday is torture. Great seeing Indy win....i think they have a good shot at declearing KC next week. We just need to grind hard tomorrow. I expect a better running game effort to keep Rivers from feeling the pressure and to not turn the ball over. Henrymay only get a few touches but I think his presence may open up some coverage for others...hes a good outlet short with great hands and a mismatch against lbs. we dont need a lot of big plays to beat the beaks...no turnovers is a must...throw it away after 4 seconds snd move on to the next play.

Im not suggesting we be pollyannas. But you see a bad play and all of a sudden thats the game etc. Shit like that. When a member goes through some shit and we start rallying with the mojo we see good things happen. Maybe we should try to supply a little bit of that sort of hope to our team. lol

How many times has this team come back to win this season? Against good teams. They deserve us to be a little more faithful than to simply go with the "Thats the game" or "same old Chargers" bs.

I wouldnt have even brought this up if multiple OG members didnt contact me to tell me its getting really negative here. So rather than "all is lost" how about a little balance? Some hope? Some faith? Its one thing for this team to learn how to win games we used to lose...but its also important for us fans to recognize how different this team is under Lynn. We need to learn how to support this team. Be proud of this team. Things are different now. We have won 21 games in 2 years. Are in the playoffs finally. Good stuff.

I have no doubt if we lose tomorrow many will behave like we just went winless all year. I dont know about you guys but the future looks pretty bright to me. Lets go kick some Raven ass.

Its kind of like fatherhood (i have 4 kids from 11 to 22)....we love our kids...they are going to make mistakes and its up to us whether we are going to hyperfocus on what they did wrong and think the worst or decide to coach and encourage. You might get the same physical results from either activity but I have experienced a far better relationship is built with the positive coaching. The environment is so much better with a more positive attitude...you sweat the small stuff (a play) and you will stress out and possibly even have health issues as a result....it aint fun for anybody, including those around you. If we move on but look for the positives and have faith good things are still possible it becomes a hell of a lot more fun as it truly is a game...its not real life but it has importance right?

if I could only get my wife to grasp this....im still working on that with her! Im a hell of a lot happier in life than she is though.
