        • CORE MUSCLE INJURY REHAB & RECOVERY

The path to rehabbing and recovering from core muscle injuries in the groin and abdominal muscle areas begins immediately. The length of such recovery time will of course depend on the patient's injury and history.
RECOVERING FROM A CORE MUSCLE INJURY

The recovery process actually begins before surgery even takes place. Being healthy before surgery enables you to recover more quickly after surgery. So, depending on your particular history and diagnosis, a "pre-hab" regimen may be recommended. That may consist of physical therapy, exercise physiology, yoga, nutrition, acupuncture or behavioral medicine. The higher your fitness level at the time of the surgery, the quicker you can get back out on the field.
        RECOVERY TIME FOR CORE INJURIES

The nature of each person's injury is unique, and as such, each person's return to activity may vary. Previous medical history can also play a role.

However, in general, most athletes (professional or otherwise) are able to return to sports anywhere from 3 to 12 weeks after surgery.

          • Bulaga had an injury history at GB, yet Telesco gave him a 3-year $30 million contract last last year. There's still one year remaining on it. He played 38 percent of snaps last year and 12 percent this year. Ouch. His biggest contribution was helping to talk Corey Linsley, his former teammate, into coming to the Chargers. That is no small thing either. Linsely has been key to the success of the OL this season.

Damn, the entire right side of the new and improved OL is gone (though we don't know the status of Bulaga long-term), and we're back to scrubs on that side. Nobody else on the OL better get hurt.

              • Will Murray be ready this week?

                • Murray is not allowed back yet. Sure sounds like Drue will be out of this game for sure and likely several games. He is one injured Jesse.

He is on IR - minimum of three weeks. So I think he missed the Raiders game, missed the Browns and will miss this week. Hopefully ready to come back after the bye week

Same with Justin Jones - we can hope

                      • Reported as pec. And they are seeking outside opinions. Teams usually don’t do that to confirm that the player is ok and can return.

                        • Looks like the big dime defense coming up. Bring in guys who can run.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
