    Go to 1:17

Lynn is quite the comedian, isn't he?

If it doesn't work on 4th down in the other side of the 50, I don't care.
In urgency, you can go for it at your 40. Not deeper.
Unless you have the 85 Chicago Bears defense.

Thing is... We all concede that the Bolts' 2021 run defense was absolute trash.

Beating the Raiders in the final game of the regular season would have resulted in a playoff berth, but the Chargers weren't going to advance far with the sieve-like run defense they were putting out there.

A (futile) playoff berth might even have cost them a shot at Zion Johnson in the draft. And while he hasn't had the opportunity to prove anything yet, there isn't any reason to believe that Zion won't be an important part of "the solution", moving forward. Dude's a STUD. I'm personally geeked that he was the pick at #17.

We have to win a significant % of those or it's counter- productive.
Staley has to pick his shots.
Key is to convert before it becomes a 4th down, go for it option.
