I actually got to look at some grainy Grambling video on this player...hard to come by. He looked solid and consistent.

He looked adequate in limited Charger snaps--not overwhelmed. This points to the possibility of Scott becoming a gem.
We do not play modern football.

In the preseason games last year, Scott didn't look all that bad. I seem to remember him, along with others, opening up some nice holes for Detrez Newsome...

He looked a bit overwhelmed in his limited regular season action. Trent has the size and length to succeed but his agility/movement skills are big questions with his future. Raw, young, and perhaps will develop but far from a likely outcome.

Alex8080. Good football chops. I have seen his work.

              Very true ninja.
I do not doubt your scout's eye
But if I see anything other than a disaster from a rookie FA OT
              from Grambling,
who is thrown into the fire,
              that's a keeper.

To me that was huge. The game didn't look too big for him, which for an undrafted guy from a smaller school, that tells you a lot about the kid.

He needs technique work, but he held his own. I am excited to see him with this offseason under his belt. There are a fair number of decent later and UDFA RT in the league (or have been in the past). Given the needs around, and the depth we have, I hope he gets a chance to push someone for the RT job.

I don't think we are set at any position on the entire team. If the right player is there, we could use help everywhere. OL and DL especially, but really any spot.
