Just one question: When he hikes the rock to be kicked, can we refer to it as, ahem, a Mazza-ball???
"The Los Angeles Chargers announced on Tuesday that they've signed long snapper Cole Mazza, who most recently played for the Birmingham Iron in the Alliance of American Football.
While in Birmingham, Mazza snapped for Nick Novak as the former Charger converted 13 of 16 field goal attempts (81.3-percent). Prior to his stint in the AAF, Mazza spent four seasons at Alabama from 2013-16. Over that time, he snapped 583 times without any botched attempts in the punting or kicking game."
