Prayers for you and your family, Mike. We're about to lose our mom (after losing dad last year) to stage 4 lung cancer. They gave her 2 years if chemo helps, but she's lost so much weight - down to 80 lbs now - that they're not sure if the low doses they're going to have to give her because of the weight loss is going to help or make it worse. It's heartbreaking.

I send prayers that you get as much quality time as possible. Loss is never easy at any age. My father passed at 49 when i was 16, my eldest bro and best friend died here in my apartment 18 months ago (taking his remains back to mom was extremely difficult to say the least), and now mom. I am happy she wont have a long suffering period, but I will miss my morning video chats (also many unfufilled plans like taking my 5yr old for his first winter Xmas). Her and my bro that passed were extremly close....talked every day. I have tried to pick up that mantle and video chat with her every morning at 7-7:15 am.

Prayers and thoughts to all the moms fighting here. I unfortunately know a few more moms, outside of my own, that are fighting cancer as well. I'll be doing the Pedal The Cause later this year, in their honor, and will keep Panama and SuperChargers moms in my heart while I ride also. Peace and strength be with you fellas.

Mom passed peacefully yesterday morning surrounded by her 3 living sons. I am grateful for the time we shared and will miss her deeply. R.I.P.
