Agreed and it isn't going to happen unless of catastrophic injury - and I'm still not convinced that he would beat out Stick.

Cardale needs to ball out in the preseason to even convince another team to give him another chance tbh

It seems Stick is doing some serious weight training right now.

Get ready for some surprising arm strength and explosion.

I keep hearing his arm strength as a negative and I can see he doesn't exactly have a cannon on film but it doesn't look like a detriment.

All depends in the offence a team runs. Lots of quality QBs never had a cannon. Hell, Payton never had a true cannon. Nor did Montana. Aikman , Brees, etc. If you see the play a tad quicker, have a quick release and are accurate with the ball, you can win a helluva lot of games.

The keys for me on a QB arm are 1. Accuracy 2. Release 3. Strength. I like the long ball, but its a 50-50 at best. I haven't seen any evaluations on Stick's release, but I do like his accuracy. If he has NFL anticipation, that will be great, but a lot of that will have to be evaluated in practices.

its typical for a qb or pitcher to gain arm strength I the pros. not a huge concern
