I guess he'll play limited snaps in several different responsibilities until he shows how & where he fits best.
My bet is we find out in next year's camp. He missed the entire camp and PS, he's not playing unless 3 more guys go down.

I won't be surprised if Perryman is 2d string...

              Jatavis' tackling issues and inconsistency
could make him a surprise cut.

Yeah, Davis, Inman, Scott, Patton... it's kind of a toss-up be tween those guys. A couple years back they kept Davis and let Inman go, though.

Again, it's kind of a toss-up between McGill, Broughton, and Lanier. Broughton can be PS'd.

True. But who do you keep at LB...? Kyle Wilson...? Dzubnar...?

                      Neither or JB.
That leaves TDavis, Kyzir, Uchenna, Denzel, Tranquill, & Egbule. Lots of position flexibility, ST capability, and AP plays quite a few snaps as a DLB.
Gives us opportunity to carry extra depth at other position groups.

                        Broughton over McGill.

                          I like Lanier
decent passrusher as a DE and inside in sub
strong, long, can possibly play 2 gap
hot motor for a big guy
Broughton has more upside as a passrushing DT perhaps, but Lanier looks like the better player overall today
McGill flashes but is inconsistent (at least this pre season) and I guess I just expect more consistency from someone who has been in the league for a few years.
